"Back in 2020, we were a fledgling company with a small but dedicated team and a promising concept that was still largely in the experimental phase," Dr. Prasad recalls. "Our primary goal was to prove that our microbial solutions could indeed transform waste into valuable resources." They were just beginning to navigate the complexities of the biogas and wastewater treatment sector.

Fast forward to today, and REVY's team has grown to eight experts from diverse fields, all contributing their unique skills to the company's development. The value of REVY has more than tripled, driven by an expanded product portfolio, a growing number of internationally recognized patents, and impressive revenue growth. "Our income now comes from a balanced mix of product sales and services," Dr. Prasad explains, "from supplying our products to commissioning and maintaining plants, as well as conducting in-depth studies, all monitored through our REVY app R-EMAPP." It continuously tracks key operational and microbial health parameters, allowing for early detection of imbalances and enabling timely corrective actions to ensure stable and efficient performance.

"Being selected as 'Start-up of the Month,' along with the associated publicity, gave us invaluable international visibility and credibility," she states. Equally important was the access to the ISC3's network of mentors and experts, who helped REVY refine their business model and align their solutions with global sustainability principles. Participating in events like the Investor Forum provided opportunities to showcase their innovations on a global stage and connect with potential investors and strategic partners. "Engaging with ISC3's core principles also helped us sharpen our strategic focus and goals," Dr. Prasad adds.

Project Highlights: From Lab to Real-World Impact

REVY has successfully advanced their innovation to TRL7 on the Technology Readiness Level index, demonstrating that their prototypes have been successfully deployed at both pilot and commercial scales. "What started as a lab experiment is now a proven solution in real-world applications," Dr. Prasad proudly states. Furthermore, REVY has received prestigious recognition from the World Biogas Association as the best biogas support and operations company and has been selected to participate in esteemed programs such as the Green Tech Accelerator and the India-Australia Accelerator. Recently, they were awarded second place at the L&T Future Tech Aqua Hackathon 2025.
