Xiaomi EV's dedicated sales team for the SU7 Ultra is reportedly being wound down as sales continue to decline. The ultra-premium market remains a challenge for Chinese electric vehicle (EV) makers, even for Xiaomi. The SU7 Ultra, a high-performance variant of the SU7, was launched in February 2025 with a starting price of RMB 529,900 ($76,370). It delivered a maximum power output of 1,548 Ps, accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.98 seconds, and reached a top speed of 350 km/h. Despite securing over 10,000 firm orders within two hours of sales opening, the SU7 Ultra's sales have significantly dropped. In December 2025, only 45 units were sold, a stark contrast to the peak sales of 3,101 units in March 2025. The Ultra Master sales team, established for the SU7 Ultra, is now being disbanded, with some members resigning and others reassigned to sell other Xiaomi models. Xiaomi EV's current lineup includes the SU7 sedan series and the YU7 SUV.
